BLAST FROM THE PAST!
(recently found
pictures!)
Greg and his first ever dog -
Ginger, a Dachshund - circa 1976! WOW!
(Ginger passed away due to old age - circa 1980)
Fifi - beloved Teacup Poodle of Greg & his parents.
1980 - 1996
Died at 16 on Greg's chest in her sleep of old age & cancer.
Was friends with Muffy, who was 8 when Fifi passed away.
(We did not think any pictures existed of Fifi, so this was a GREAT find! - March 2008)
THEN: (MARCH 2005)
NOW: (JUNE 2006)
You
know
Stempy. This is his website. We loved him dearly and really miss him!
Muffy, our female Lhasa Apso, passed away 10 days after
Stempy, at
the grand old age of 17 3/4, on October 10, 2005 - due to old
age
and cancer. We surely loved her dearly and miss her, too! Renay, our
female Shih Tzu, was Stempy's best bud and partner in crime.
She
will be 7 in February 2006. She really misses Muffy and Stempy, but she
is doing better now that she has three new playmates, Ditto, Echo, and
Tempy. She is just starting to figure out that she
has taken
over being the "Queen Bee" of our doggies. She went from #3 on
the
totem pole to #1 in 11 days after Stempy and Muffy passed.
Below is a picture of Muffy
&

so
that you, too, can rest in peace. We love you & miss you!):

1988
- 2005
Below are a
few more pictures of Muffy (she was the "Queen Bee"...it was just
her
and her Daddy, Greg, until 1997, when Daddy met Mommy...Cindy. She was
jealous of Cindy at first, but soon grew to love her as her
Mommy....
Stempy came along a few months later in 1997.)
WE LOVE
YOU & MISS YOU MUFFY!

"The best doggie in the whole world!"
STEMPY
1997 - 2005
Below are a
few more pictures of Stempy (he was the BOSS of all the other
dogs or, as Cindy called him so fittingly, "Daddy's Little
Deputy." He was his Daddy's constant shadow. He really loved
his
humans! There were SOOOO many things that made him special and one of a
kind....it was NOT his time to go....
his "Dr. Bad Vet" MUST be held
accountable....HE SHOULD STILL BE WITH US!!!)
WE LOVE
YOU &
MISS YOU STEMPY!

"The best little doggie there ever was!"
ABOVE: Cindy and
Stempy about 3 or 4 years ago. (circa 2002)
Stempy was grimacing because
Cindy was kissing him! (Ha!)
"Poo Poo Boy" was just one of the
many loving nicknames that he would answer to.
Stempy was truly a once
in a lifetime dog.
Losing him at only 8 years of age....
part of us died that
day.....
You should be ashamed of
yourself Dr.Thomas. How do
you
look in the mirror? Seriously.
RENAY
1999 - STILL WITH US.
Below
are a few more pictures of Renay (her nickname is NayNay, she
has
a real affinity for those tiny tennis balls!
She takes two to bed with
her! She joined the family in 1999.):

She is a clown! She is

We
now have three new family members below who joined our family after
Stempy and Muffy passed away.
Ditto
8/8/2005
- still with us.
BELOW: Meet "Stempy's
Ditto" or Ditto, as we call him. He was born August 8, 2005.
He is an AKC Shih Tzu
from well known Shih Tzu breeder, Pat
Fletcher - Karyon Shih Tzu , breeder of many
champions. Stempy's breeder - the late Linda Council - Del La Rosa
Shih Tzu - was mentored by Ms. Fletcher. Stempy's father was AKC champion
Karyon Del La Rosa's Wonder. Stempy and Ditto are
actually first cousins, one
time removed. It's uncanny how similar some of their
personality quirks are. Ditto is
a little taller and a little longer than Stempy was, but not by much.
Ditto weighs
in at 7lbs. Stempy was definitely much more "macho" than Ditto, but
they are
both masters of the art of getting exactly what they want
Ditto's name really fits him. He is most definitely Stempy's
Ditto.

Echo
August 12, 2006 - still with us.
BELOW: Meet "Muffy's
Echo" or Echo, as we call her. She is an AKC Lhasa Apso.
She was born
August 12, 2005. She's not very fond of meeting new people, but she
does love us. Lhasa's are naturally wary of strangers. Echo takes this
to the extreme. Muffy was wary of strangers, but would then warm up to
them. Not Echo. She doesn't want anything to do with anyone she doesn't
know. We think this is due to her breeder not properly socializing her
as a young puppy. Nonetheless, she is a loved member of our family.

Tempy
January
4, 2006 - still with us.
BELOW:
Meet
"O Tempy Be Stempy" or Tempy as we call him. He is the youngest
of the
3 new family members. He is an AKC champion sired
male Shih Tzu,
reddish/gold
&
white, with a half black mask. He is also related
to Stempy.....
1st cousins, three times removed. The
relation is much more distant than Ditto's
relation. Tempy was supposed to be a
small Shih Tzu like Stempy and Ditto.
While on the small end of the
standard, Tempy did grow to be a full size Shih Tzu.
He currently
weighs between 9 and 10 pounds and he is much taller
and longer than both Stempy and Ditto. He is extremely loving.
Cindy has nicknamed him 'Kissy Kissy Boy.'

These
are more than "Our Doggies!" These are our much beloved family members!
You can be sure that we are thoroughly scrutinizing our new
veterinarian and will continue to do so forever more.
Stempy....we love you so....oh,
how we
miss you, little boy....and you, too, Muffy!
We
are pursuing justice for Stempy in the hopes that we can warn others of
our "Dr. Bad Vet" and hopefully spare someone else and their beloved
pet the pain and misery we have endured and are continuing to endure.
FOR STEMPY - THE BEST
LITTLE DOGGIE THERE EVER WAS!!
WE LOVE YOU. WE MISS YOU. WE WILL NEVER
FORGET YOU.

chain will link again.
The
Way We Were
(Barbara Streisand)
Mem’ries,
Like
the
corners of my mind
Misty
water-colored memories
Of the way
we were
Scattered
pictures,
Of the
smiles we left behind
Smiles we
gave to one another
For
the way
we were
Can it be
that it was all so simple then?
Or has time
re-written every line?
If we had
the chance to do it all again
Tell me,
would we? could we?
Mem’ries,
may be beautiful and yet
What’s
too painful to remember
We
simply
choose to forget
So
it’s the laughter
We will
remember
Whenever we
remember...
The way we
were...
The
way we
were...
